In China, most people who drink green tea, white tea, or other types of Chinese tea every day. It is a very long tradition, more than 1000 years.Clearly those who have been lucky enough to have visited China will have noticed people drinking tea from thermo bottles or were served Chinese tea several times.

Drinking Chinese tea has become very popular in the western part of the world too. This is mainly due to the health benefits of drinking Chinese tea variety. The level of caffeine does not really have much to do with the processing time or oxidation but more about the plant variety and the position of the leaves collected. Growing up in India and Sri Lanka tea contains caffeine even more than the Chinese varieties.
