Pillsbury Cinnamon Roll Recall

Pillsbury Cinnamon Roll RecallSept. 9, 2013 -- General Mills has voluntarily recalled a limited quantity of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing because the dough may contain pieces of plastic.

The affected products include single packages of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing with “Better if Used” dates  of 30OCT2013 and 31OCT2013, and 2-pack Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing with dates 18OCT2013, 26OCT2013, and 30OCT20132013.

The 8-count single and double packages were sold in grocery stores nationwide.

The recall does not include Pillsbury Flaky Cinnamon Rolls or Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls.

General Mills said it issued the recall because of a broken piece of plastic on the production line.

Customers who purchased packages labeled with the affected date codes should contact General Mills toll-free at 800-775-4777 for a replacement.
